Voor wie bedoeld?

Beginners 4 is de ideale cursus voor wie zelfredzaam wil zijn in het dagelijks leven. Het maakt daarbij niet uit of je de taal nou beroepsmatig nodig hebt, voor je persoonlijke ontwikkeling of voor je inburgeringsexamen.

Important to know before booking this course...

Lessons are taught completely in Dutch! You can already speak some Dutch, so our aim is to immerse you in the language even more! You will slowly build an understanding of everything you hear and read, and it will encourage you to use the language as much as possible outside of the classroom also.

If you need your teacher to explain something in your own language / in English, then you are very welcome to ask them - make sure you ask them in Dutch!

Lessons online: due to restrictions, we currently offer courses online. Lessons will be held via Zoom with an average of 6-8 students.

Lessons at CBE: we have spaced our classrooms in accordance with RIVM regulations and you'll find plenty of hand sanitiser in every room! When regulations permit, we aim to move some groups back on-site. We wish to provide a safe and comfortable place for you to learn so we have limited our onsite courses to 4-6 students maximum.

If you have successfully completed the Beginners 4 course, you can:

• Explain how and why you do the things you do, and where and when;

• Have discussions and give arguments;

• Say what you are doing and ask for or give advice.

RETURNERS: If you currently on a Beginners 3 course and wish to sign up for Beginners 4, you have 2 options:

• Would you like to book, but can't pay yet in full? Choose the Deposit on the right of this page. The deposit will hold your spot until 01 April! The remaining balance must be paid no later than 01 April in order to hold your place on the course. You will receive an email with details on how to complete payment.

NEW STUDENTS: Please register first and do the free intake. Once completed, you can:

Als je de cursus Beginners 4 met succes hebt afgerond, kan je:

• Vertellen hoe en waarom je de dingen doet die je doet, en waar en wanneer
• Discussies voeren en argumenten geven;
• Zeggen wat je zit te doen en een advies vragen of geven.

Inburgeren.

Op dit moment is niveau A2 van het Common European Framework of Reference vereist voor het talige deel van het inburgeringsexamen. Dat gaat waarschijnlijk veranderen: afhankelijk van de mogelijkheden van de inburgeraar wordt dat niveau verhoogd of verlaagd (maatwerk). De nieuwe regeling gaat waarschijnlijk in 2020 in. LET OP: ook in de huidige situatie is een taalbeheersingsniveau A2 op zich niet voldoende om het volledige inburgeringsexamen af te kunnen leggen.

En daarna?

Als je de cursus met goed gevolg hebt afgerond, kan je door naar het volgende niveau, Gevorderden 1, dat opleidt tot niveau A2+ van het Common European Framework of Reference.
